Select the appropriate migration tool

Data can be migrated in multiple ways, depending on whether you upgrade to a newer product version or shift between products. Various migration paths and different migration tools are available when shifting between OneSpan authentication products.

The data migration matrix gives an overview of the possible direct data migration paths (see Table: Data migration matrix):

  • The first column lists the source product to migrate from. The other columns specify how to migrate to the respective destination product if applicable.
  • Some particular migration paths are not supported. Unsupported migration paths are marked with an X.
  • If a migration path indicates Upgrade, this means that the data migration is performed in context of the regular upgrade paths (see Upgrades).
  • If a migration path indicates DMT, this means that the Data Migration Tool (DMT) must be used (see Migration paths with Data Migration Tool (DMT)).

If your source product is not listed or you require assistance for upgrading and migrating server data, contact your usual support channel or OneSpan support.
