We've been using the sandbox for testing. We use the sandbox from our development machines and a server. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago.

Nothing has changed with regards to the documents created and where they're found on the server for years.
I can open web sites from the server in question. My IT people tell me that nothing was done to our server that would prevent using the Sandbox.
