Saving past signer's details

0 votes

I'm aware that OneSpan saves past signer's details so that it is easier to populate them in drop down when I create the transaction for the same signers. Is there a way to clear that data from the drop down if the signer is no longer with the organization?

Hi Patel,

In terms of disabling a sender, typically:

- You can only lock the person if he/she has created transactions (not to delete, because the transactions will still be kept). This prevents the user's from logging onto the portal.

- You can optionally configure access delegation (this allows accessing the user's dashboard) if there's still ongoing transactions or to manage existing transactions.

PS: Contact history is just a list of auto-populated signer information. They can be either internal or external signers.

Hi Patel,

Yes, the history contacts are stored at OSS side, and it's possible to remove the email from the BackOffice. Please kindly contact support team ([email protected]) with your request.

Thank you Duo for getting back quickly. Just one question, is it necessary to remove that signer from the sender's list (if he/she happens to be an OSS user)? Or it doesn't matter as far as support is removing their details from the history?
