What is the difference between owner, manager and sender role?

Can you provide a list of permissions linked to each role?

Hi Patrice,

"Admin", "Manager" and "Sender" are three predefined roles that cannot be modified. Below discussions are in disregard of the Roles & Permissions feature(Enterprise Administration guide and Managing Roles guide) and the sub-account feature.

For "Admin" vs "Manager", Admin has to be a "Manager" first, and on top of that, Admin is unique within the account. From the custom service standpoint, account owner reaches out to the support team asking for account level changes. From the integration's perspective, only Admin has access to API Key (from sender UI, hover on the "Admin" dropdown at the top menu, choose "API Access" in the "Integration" section, only Admin can see the API Key in the page), and therefore, only Admin user should be used for integration purpose and change integration related settings like callback notification events and the listener setup. Other than that, both Manger and Admin can manage senders, groups, custom fields, so on so forth.

As a regular type of sender, "Sender" can only leverage the features enabled at the account level, instead of managing the features. Also, senders can't see transactions created by other senders, can't access templates and layouts that is not shared by other senders.
