Task scheduling and management

OneSpan Authentication Server allows you to schedule selected tasks to run at specific times. Certain tasks can be scheduled to run either immediately or at a specified time and date. You can also schedule recurring tasks to run PDF reports regularly on a daily or monthly basis.

All Administration Web Interface wizards for operations that allow task scheduling provide a Schedule Task page. That page allows you to define the schedule for each task and to set up a task as a recurring event.

You can set the desired time and date for each scheduled task. The details for scheduled tasks are saved in the data store. The tasks will automatically run at the specified date and time. Audit messages are generated for the respective start, end, and result transactions. You can also configure whether to receive a text message or an email notification when the scheduled task is completed.
