Exporting and importing configurations

The Export/Import feature of Risk Analytics Presentation ServiceClosed A highly dynamic web interface that provides webpages for the user to intuitively interact with Risk Analytics. It is a Microsoft .NET 4.7.2 ASP.NET application hosted inside Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). allows you to transfer your settings and configurations between environments. It greatly facilitates transferring rule, alert management, report, and interface configurations.

Before you begin

If you import a configuration, this will erase the previous configuration of the same type and all related pending alerts in the environment to which you are importing the new configuration!

The import file must be generated in the same environment type as the environment to which you are going to import; if this is not the case, all campaigns, divisions, and rules must be recompiled again because the relevant fields and features may not be usable across channels and/or environments! Thus, importing a digital banking export file into a digital banking environment will pass; importing a corporate banking export file into a digital banking environment might lead to a compilation error.

By default, Risk Analytics Presentation Service limits the maximum size of the import file to 50 MB. If you need to import environments in files that are larger than 50 MB, you need to adapt the Presentation Service configuration file. For instructions how to change the settings in the configuration file, refer to the OneSpan Risk Analytics Installation Guide.

  2. To export a configuration, select the check box for the required item and click Export. You can select several items to be exported simultaneously by selecting all relevant check boxes.
