What could be causing this?

0 votes

Hello folks.

We have made a fairly innocuous change to a PDF template agreement, just the text of an address, however when rendering this on the e-signature page of our application instead of the new text, we get some strange garbled capitalised text. Looks a bit like this:

some garbled text

Can anyone think what we have done, other than changing the address, that would cause this?

We have not changed the font. I have not checked acrobat versions in use which is on my radar as well.

Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

Ed.

Hi Edward,

If there's no sensitive information, could you share the updated PDF to [email protected] so that I can take a closer look at the issue?

Thanks Duo. Unfortunately I am not in a position to determine what is, and isn't sensitive information, I'm a test manager and I would happily share anything with anyone in pursuit of a bug!

I will talk to the appropriate folks tomorrow, we do also have official support lines as well which I will also investigate.

Thanks for your speedy response. Much appreciated.
