Questions on eSL for Salesforce Lightning

I have a client who is asking to confirm on the following behavior in eSL for Salesforce Lightning: 1. Salesforce Files should be able to be added to a package by selecting "Related Object Attachment". Although this suggest the file needs to be added to the object first, before it can be added to the package. Is this correct? 2. It does not seem to be possible to upload a local file into the package as salesforce Files directly. Can you confirm this? 3. Additionally, when an existing Document in a package is converted to a salesforce File, it is no longer visible within the package. Is eSignLive aware of this behavior, is this intended, or does a workaround exist?
