Locating an API Key

Hi, I am trying to find my API Key that is mentioned in the following step by step guide. https://developer.esignlive.com/guides/quick-start/creating-and-sending-a-package-java/ The first few lines define your connection information for eSignLive. public static final String API_KEY = ""; public static final String API_URL = "https://sandbox.esignlive.com/api"; To retrieve your API key, log in to your eSignLive account and click on “ACCOUNT” from the top menu. Your API key is listed there. By default, the value is hidden. Select “Unlock” to show the value. Now, replace with your API key value I have tried accessing my Account/Profile for both a developer.esignlive.com login and sandbox.esignlive.com login and cannot see any API Key. Can someone advise where I should be looking? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, To retrieve you API key, login to your sandbox account and click on your name on the top right-hand side. Then, select Admin and then Integration. Click on the eye icon on the right to show your API key. The instructions in the guide are for our classic sender user interface. I will update the guide to reflect our new sender ui. Thanks bringing this to our attention :)

Hello, I can't find my API key in my account using your recommendations. Can't find the eye icon. Can it depend on that account is not paid yet? We want to try how the API works.

Hi dreamspaceinteriors, Which environment are you in, Sandbox or Production (sandbox.esignlive.com vs apps.esignlive.com)? And are you an account owner or a regular member? Only owner can have the eye icon and it depends on your plan. If it's sandbox instance, you will be integrated automatically. For production instance, if your plan is integrated, you also should see that icon. You can contact our support team at [email protected] to know more on this. Hope this could help! Duo

Hi Duo_Liang, I am in apps.esignlive.com and my role is "owner". Here are some screenshots - http://joxi.ru/Grq78OlIQ3oLp2, http://joxi.ru/82Q9JojijEYOW2. Now I am using a trial plan, can this be the reason why I do not have an eye icon?

Hi dreamspaceinteriors, I've checked with our support team that Production accounts with trial plan can't be enabled with integration functions. Instead, you can create accounts and try functions at sandbox environment: https://sandbox.esignlive.com/a/login?destination=/a/dashboard All production behaviors are almost same except an extra watermark will be added to each document page.
