Document Verification with Facial Comparison

1 votes

Looking for some more information on this.  We have set this up to use with signing events and was told you must insert the name exactly how it appears the persons identification.  We have found lately that sometimes you must insert the middle name/initial and sometimes not.  Is there a reason for this or certain Identification that you must always add the middle name or initial or certain it doesn't matter?  Thanks

Hi Kari,

Thanks for your post!

If we are talking about your test account in CA sandbox. You have two IDV workflow configured, for both w/o facial comparison:

Workflow Id                                                                 Type         Tenant            Description                             Skip when accessing signed documents

00000000-0000-0002-0001-200000000055               DV             OSS              Veridas_DocID                       false

00000000-0001-0002-0001-200000000055               DVF           OSS              Veridas_Doc_and_FaceID     false

Both of these workflows require the full name matching. However, even if the full name doesn't fully match (for example because of the middle name), there's a score threshold 0.8 / 1.0 to determine if the IDV authentication passed. You can find more detailed information in the evidence summary, supplemental information table at the end, see attachment.
