Account-Level Features

The following table describes the features that can be enabled or disabled for your account by contacting our Support Team.

Some features may be billable.

Feature Description
Enable the New Signer Experience

Displays the New Signer Experience to recipients whenever possible.

The New Signer Experience currently has limited functionality. Thus it will be displayed to a recipient only if all the features enabled for the recipient's session are supported by the New Signer Experience.

Enterprise Administration Enables an organizations' Account Administrators to effectively manage users, roles, and groups, by creating sub-accounts for their lines of business.
Roles and Permissions Enables an organizations' Account Administrators to create new roles with designated permissions. These roles, with their accompanying permissions, can then be applied to individual users.

Require SSO login for senders

Requires senders to log in to OneSpan Sign via Single Sign-On Authentication.

Enable SSO login for external recipients

Enables Single Sign-On Authentication (SSO) to be configured for external recipients.

If SSO is configured for external recipients, authentication information can be exchanged between OneSpan Sign and corporate servers, so recipients can use their organization's credentials to access the Signing Ceremony.

Require senders to log in before signing

Requires a recipient who is an account sender to log in to OneSpan Sign before they can access the Signing Ceremony.

Enable Q&A authentication

Enables Q&A Authentication to be configured for recipients in the New User Experience.

Configure default value for Q&A toggle switch

Configures a default value (ON or OFF) for the Mask Response toggle switch that appears during Q&A Authentication.

Enable SMS authentication

Enables SMS Authentication to be configured for recipients in the New User Experience.

Enable Equifax Canada authentication

Enables authentication via Equifax Canada to be configured for recipients in the New User Experience.

Enable Equifax USA authentication

Enables authentication via Equifax USA to be configured for recipients in the New User Experience.

Require recipient authentication

Requires all recipients of a transaction to be assigned a Q&A, SMS, SSO, or KBA Authentication Method.

Disable footer on User Interface

Ensures that no footer will appear in the application's User Interface.

Note: This setting does not apply to the login page.

Enable Mobile Signature type

Makes the Mobile Signature type available when documents are being prepared for signing.

Enable signing on mobile phones

Makes the Mobile Signing Ceremony available to recipients who access the Signing Ceremony from a mobile phone.

Enable signing on tablets

Makes the Mobile Signing Ceremony available to recipients who access the Signing Ceremony from a tablet.

Enable transactions to be sent to mobile devices

Enables recipients to send transactions to their mobile device for signing there.

Add a checkbox to the top of the Consent document

Enables signers to accept the Electronic Consent Document via a checkbox at the top of the page or a checkbox at the bottom of the page.. If this feature is disabled, signers can accept the document only via a checkbox at the bottom of the page.

Prevent removal of Consent document

Prevents senders from removing the Electronic Consent Document from a transaction or template.

Enable integration

Enables the integration of third-party Web applications with OneSpan Sign.

When this feature is enabled, an account's API key will be displayed to the account owner in the User Interface.

Senders can view In-Person recipient list

Enables the list of recipients in an In-Person transaction to be viewed by any transaction recipient who is also a sender in the account.

If this feature is disabled, this list will be viewable only by the Transaction Owner.

No invitation email to In-Person recipients

Prevents the recipients in an In-Person transaction from receiving an email that invites them to sign.

Enable switch between Classic & New User Experiences

Enables senders to switch between the Classic User Experience and the New User Experience.

Default UI = New User Experience

Makes the New User Experience the application's default User Interface.

Enable Group management

Enables the management of Groups.

A "Group" is a collection of OneSpan Sign recipients who can act as a single recipient from the point of view of the transaction creator. Group recipients must be senders on the account.

Enable notarization

Enables the e-Notary feature, which permits documents to be notarized.

When this feature is enabled, the Enable notarization setting is available when a transaction or template is created.

Enable Custom Fields

Enables the use of Custom Fields.

A "Custom Field" is one that, at the time of signing, is automatically populated with data that is specific to the recipient.

Enable Fast Track

Enables the Fast Track feature., which permits the rapid distribution of transactions for signing, automates the e-signature process, and eliminates the need to send individual transactions to your recipients.

Enable Bulk Send

Enables theBulk Sending feature, which gives users the ability to create and distribute multiple transactions with minimum effort (by using a suitable template and a CVS file).

Enable recipients to upload attachments

Enables recipients to upload attachments to a transaction. Thus senders can ask recipients to upload one or more attachments, and recipients can do so.

Enable users to delegate

Enables the Delegation feature, which gives a user the ability to delegate access to their OneSpan Sign transactions to one or more other users on their account.

Control document visibility

Enables the Document Visibility feature, which gives integrators the ability to control which recipients can view specific documents in a transaction during the Signing Ceremony.

Enable countries to be blacklisted

Enables countries to be blacklisted from accessing OneSpan Sign.

If this feature is enabled, access will be blocked for any user (sender or recipient) who tries to access the application from a blacklisted country.

Enable optional signatures

Enables signatures to be flagged as optional.

When the Optional Signatures flag is set for a document, a recipient is not obliged to sign all of their signatures inside that document before completing the associated transaction.

Enable signing with a certificate

Enables senders to permit recipients to sign with a digital certificate that resides on a hardware token or Smart Card (e.g., CAC, PIV, eID).

Enable signing with the Personal Certificate Client

Enables senders to configure recipients to sign with the Personal Certificate Client when they sign with a certificate.

Note: This feature won’t work unless the feature in the previous row is also enabled.

Enable verification of recipients via external credentials

Enables External Signer Verification.

When this feature is enabled, a recipient trying to confirm their approval of a document within OneSpan Sign can verify their identity via their credentials with an external organization (e.g., DIGIPASS credentials).

Flatten documents for recipients

Ensures that documents downloaded or sent via email to recipients will be flattened (read-only) before being sent.

If this feature is enabled, such documents will always be flattened. If this feature is disabled, documents will: (1) be flattened if the transaction has not been completed; (2) remain active if if the transaction has been completed.

This setting applies only to recipients.

Record Signing Ceremony events

Ensures that Signing Ceremony events will be recorded in e-Witness.

Even if this feature is disabled, OneSpan Sign will record: (1) the screens from a Mobile Signing Ceremony; (2) the Guest Auth pages for SMS and Q&A Authentication Methods.

Tamperseal Evidence Summaries

Ensures that a completed transaction's Evidence Summary will be signed and locked.

Email Evidence Summaries to Transaction Owners

Ensures that once a transaction is completed, the Transaction Owner will receive an Evidence Summary document as an email attachment.

Email signed documents & Evidence Summaries to senders

Ensures that signed documents and the Evidence Summary will be emailed to the sender as attachments upon a transaction’s completion. If this feature is enabled, both will be emailed.

If this feature is disabled, and the Evidence Summary feature is enabled, only the Evidence Summary will be emailed. If both this feature and the Evidence Summary feature are disabled, no documents will be emailed.
