Server Configuration – General (tab)
The SYSTEM > Server Configuration > General page contains server-wide configuration settings applying to the current OneSpan Authentication Server instance.
This tab is only available if you have the View Server Configuration Options privilege set. To change settings, you require the View Server Configuration Options privilege.
A restart of OneSpan Authentication Server service is required after any change to the OneSpan Authentication Server configuration settings. When exiting the configuration page, you will be prompted to allow an automatic restart of the service.
Field name | Description |
Tracing | |
Level |
The detail level for trace logs. Possible values:
|
File | The absolute file path and file name of the trace log file. |
Rotate Trace Logs |
Trace files can be rotated, with a new file being created after a specified elapsed time period, or when a specified size is reached. Select this checkbox to enable trace file rotation. This option is available only if the tracing level is set to Basic or Full. |
Maximum Trace Logs |
The maximum number of trace log files to keep. The number of archived trace log files will remain constant, but a new file will be added to the archive list, and the oldest file will be deleted. |
Log Rotation Strategy |
The trace log file rotation strategy.
|
Compress Trace Logs |
Determines whether archived trace log files should be compressed. |
Disable Log Caching |
If selected, log data will not be stored in the cache, but flushed after each record. We do not recommend to disable log caching permanently, because constantly writing log data significantly increases disk usage and affects the performance of OneSpan Authentication Server services. Disable log caching only when you investigate server or application issues. |
RADIUS Dictionary | |
RADIUS Dictionary File |
The name of the RADIUS dictionary file if you have created a custom file. The file specified must be in the place specified as the RADIUS dictionary file location during configuration. |
